Having tried the in-house Chinese restaurant at the Imperial Queen’s Park, hubby and I decided to try out the French restaurant, Les Nympheas. The place looked quite posh and I loved the interior. It had very high ceiling and a semi-open kitchen. The seats were really comfortable and decorated with plenty of pillows covered with colourful Thai silk.
Yet another story from the time we spent in Bangkok – yep long time ago. Or at least the first quarter of this year. 
As I may have already mentioned before, we stayed at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel at Sukhumvit Soi 22. Their in house restaurant included a selection of Chinese restaurant, French restaurant, and Japanese restaurant. One night, we decided to try the Chinese restaurant.
Ooops… I just realized that I haven’t really posted anything about our Christmas dinner and culinary adventures! I have been posting it in many places such as my Facebook account and I have used it in a holiday newsletter which I sent out to our friends and family, and that’s why I have this feeling that it’s already done here also. Apparently not! Apologies for that, but let me make up for it for posting it here now.
Last Thursday, we had to stop by at a hyper mart to buy a big bin for our household waste. Due to the typical traffic in Jakarta, we arrived at Pejaten Village a wee bit late, so we were hungry by the time we got out of the car. So we decided to have our dinner there and then. (more…)
