Dinner at City Kroen, Copenhagen

During that one week super quick visit to Denmark, we wanted to squeeze in a dinner date with hubby’s son and his girlfriend. Since the training ended on a Friday, my hubby and I drove to Malmö as we planned to spend the last two nights of our visit at his daughter’s. On Saturday night, we drove back to Copenhagen to meet up with hubby’s son.

Endless deliciousness and yumminess

During the first week of March, my hubby and I made a sudden one week trip to Denmark. With a short notice, I was invited to attend a training which I could luckily accept thanks to the two year multiple entry visa that I got last October 2009. Otherwise it would have taken me 3 weeks to apply for a visa, rendering me unable to attend the training. With an even shorter notice, my hubby was asked to be one of the facilitators in the training.

Hakkebøf at White Horse

The White Horse is a restaurant around the corner of our house which was previously closed. During the short time it was closed, I was quite saddened because they had a menu which was my favourite: smoked salmon with spinach cream sauce. Well last time we went to Denmark in November last year, it has reopened with an Irish interior setting, similar menu, minus my favourite. :( But anyways, it was good to see it was reopened under new management and owner, so my hubby and I went there for a visit one day to have some small bite for lunch. Or so we thought.
