Dinner at Les Nympheas

Having tried the in-house Chinese restaurant at the Imperial Queen’s Park, hubby and I decided to try out the French restaurant, Les Nympheas. The place looked quite posh and I loved the interior. It had very high ceiling and a semi-open kitchen. The seats were really comfortable and decorated with plenty of pillows covered with colourful Thai silk.

Delicious Dinner at Imperial China

Yet another story from the time we spent in Bangkok – yep long time ago. Or at least the first quarter of this year. :D

As I may have already mentioned before, we stayed at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel at Sukhumvit Soi 22. Their in house restaurant included a selection of Chinese restaurant, French restaurant, and Japanese restaurant. One night, we decided to try the Chinese restaurant.

Antonio’s in Bangkok

Alright, enough postponement already. It’s time to do Antonio’s some justice. Way back when I was in Bangkok with my hubby, we went about our usual dinner-picking-indecisiveness and walked in and out of almost every Sukhumvit road there is to find a place that would suit my hubby’s and my taste and mood for the night. I almost ran out of patience when we saw this lovely cozy light on the top floor of a building in the back of another building. Then we saw a sign “Antonio’s” with an arrow pointing around the corner. Out of curiosity as much as severe hunger, we both decided to go there.

The Culinary Experience Range in Bangkok

At the end of March, I accompanied my hubby to Bangkok where he had to attend a one week meeting. I must let you know, that my hubby is not so much into traditional food so my culinary experience even when in a foreign country will always include international or western food. Hence, the range of my culinary adventures in Bangkok was actually quite wide, starting from Thai rice salad to French fine dining.
