Thanks to my dear friend and ex colleague I discovered the yumminess of this restaurant, and ever since that fateful day, I kept coming back for more. Not as often as I would like to, though. But while my friend from Yogya and her hubby was here for a short visit, we all agreed to dine here.
My friend from Yogya was in town for a visit, and as usual we always had to have a day of shopping spree. This time we went to Ambassador Mall. The shopping went considerably well; I scored a batik dress and a few tops. Of course we also had to get something to eat, and our choice for that day was simple and quick served Sundanese food from Dadap Kuring, located in the food court.
I just finished a good gym session with my trainer and was hungry. I know some people say don’t eat within 1 hour after you have trained but I was starving. Besides, I think I spent quite a long time in the bathroom showering and putting on my make up afterwards – so I guess that’s enough time.
I have this thing about Soto. I just love it. Probably not as much as Rev. Petrus Agung though, because I certainly don’t have Soto ALL the time. 
Ok that was sort of an exclusive circle’s joke, if you didn’t get it, I don’t blame you. 
So back to Soto. I was meeting up with friends at Pasaraya just to have lunch. It was one of those ‘city tour’ day, where I do all sorts of errands in one day so that I don’t have to get out of the house too often. The traffic is just too bad, and I can’t be bothered having to spend lots of time commuting, especially since I have now moved to a place out of the city (since I’ve been back from Haiti).
I heard about this food court at Pejaten Village, they said it was nicely decorated and has all kinds of Indonesian food from all over the country. I have been wanting to try it out at least once. One day, my friend rang me up and asked if I would like to meet up with her for lunch, and it happened to be exactly at that food court that I wanted to try. Talk about great luck!
