BiBimBap at Han Gang Kitchen
It was summer time, and Sex and the City 2 was playing all over town. My friend came to visit from Yogyakarta and we went to see it together. We met up at Plaza Senayan and went to the theatre first to book ourselves two tickets. Afterwards, we went around the shopping mall and looked at clothes and whatnot. Since the movie doesn’t start until after lunch, we both decided to go grab lunch first. There were so many places to choose from, but we opted for the food court, so we could both get different things.
My friend chose to have some Indonesian food from Sate Khas Senayan, but I was quite indecisive about what I wanted to eat. Usually at the Plaza Senayan food court, I would get something at Doner Kebab or Goiza but I didn’t feel like either one of them. (Plus, I think Goiza doesn’t exist anymore, despite of it being much more yummy than Hoka-Hoka Bento). So when I found the Korean barbecue stall, I decided to go for this one, because it has been quite a while since I last had Bibimbap, which was exactly what I ordered.
I liked it a lot, although I must admit I had tasted better one in a small restaurant somewhere in Plaza Indonesia (can’t remember the name anymore). But it’s not bad at all if I ignore the fact that I burnt my tongue on the very hot food (and the hot plate/bowl doesn’t really help either).
