Quick and Yummy Lunch at Citrus
When I was still working full time in Gatot Subroto area, my hubby and I would sometimes go out for lunch at Citrus restaurant, located in Tebet Indraya Square just next to KFC/Gelael in Pancoran area. We enjoy going there because it’s good food, quick service and close to the office. Most of the menu are ‘safe food’, meaning that almost nothing could go wrong with it, unless of course any of the food ingredients are rotten – which it of course never was.
My hubby’s usual order would be chicken cordon bleu with french fries, while my choices vary between chicken cordon bleu, nasi goreng, sop buntut, cheesy chicken, chicken Maryland… in fact I don’t think there is one menu that I haven’t ordered there 
well except those containing shellfish. The one and only picture I have of their food is this one: citrus cheesy chicken. Basically it’s fried chicken in breadcrumbs, topped with some cheese and mushroom sauce. It’s served with sautéed vegetables and french fries (or you can also opt for mashed or baked potatoes). It’s really yummy treat in a very short time. So if you work in that area and are looking for some nice but still quickly served food, try out Citrus and tell me what you think!
Well the place should get an award for the speedy kitchen, of course not at the expense of the quality. Not a gourmet place but good food indeed.
