Simple Pan-Fried Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce
Sometimes my hubby and I opt for a very simple dish which requires no particular skills, extraordinary ingredients or complicated efforts. This time, we chose to have it healthy as well
so we decided to cook pan-fried salmon with some steamed vegetables and boiled small potatoes.
The salmon was easy, just a sprinkle of salt and pepper as well as some drops of lemon juice before it’s fried for a short time on a pan. The hollandaise sauce is similar to a béarnaise sauce, just omit the tarragon and use juice from half a lemon. As for the steamed vegetables, well, we actually put them in a bowl with some butter and cooked them for a short time in the microwave. According to my hubby, it’s the best way to cook vegetables, as they retain their original flavour.
