Dining Out: Steak Tenderloin at Gourmet Garage

Yes, it’s the fourth time that I am actually writing about Gourmet Garage. It’s obviously a place that my hubby and I like going to, not only because they are the only place (or the only one we know of so far) that sells prime beef (wagyu), but also because so far, the food we had there at their restaurant had been to our satisfaction. It’s only natural that we come back to the place we like, isn’t it?

Last Friday, we went to Gourmet Garage to buy some steak, and so we took the opportunity to frequent the restaurant as well. I couldn’t make up my mind on what I wanted to order so I copied my hubby and had some steak with mushroom sauce, sautéed veggies and french fries. I had the 180 gr tenderloin with mushroom sauce while my hubby had the 220 gr rib eye with green pepper sauce. The steak could have used a bit more salt, but other than that, it was perfectly cooked to our request (medium-well). The size of my steak was very appropriate for my appetite and quite convenient because I could finish it all while still being able to down a decent amount of veggies and fries. (I love their fries!)
