Dinner Tonight: Creamy Chicken Tarragon
Wednesday, March 11th, 2009Oh my… the chicken tag will grow yet again! I really didn’t realize that I have made this whole week’s menu consisting of chicken! But nothing to do about it now but to ride it out.
Tonight’s menu is creamy chicken tarragon. The chicken is stir fried with salt, pepper and tarragon, and then some cream is added to it. It’s really simple and that is why I chose to cook it. Unfortunately, it didn’t taste as good as I had hoped. I added some white wine into the cream (following from another recipe) but it didn’t work out either. Plus, chicken is not very photogenic, they turn out to be very pale, especially this one since it’s in cream sauce. Luckily I took a picture of it also while it was halfway done, although the lighting is still not so good.
