Hakkebøf at White Horse

The White Horse is a restaurant around the corner of our house which was previously closed. During the short time it was closed, I was quite saddened because they had a menu which was my favourite: smoked salmon with spinach cream sauce. Coffee and Cassava at Kafe Toraja

My hubby and I have known each other since early 2005 when we met at endless tsunami meetings, as well as through my often hostile visits to his office to sort out his visa issues. Quick and Yummy Lunch at Citrus

When I was still working full time in Gatot Subroto area, my hubby and I would sometimes go out for lunch at Citrus restaurant, located in Tebet Indraya Square just next to KFC/Gelael in Pancoran area. We enjoy going there because it’s good food, quick service and close to the office. Most of the menu are ‘safe food’, meaning that almost nothing could go wrong with it, unless of course any of the food ingredients are rotten – which it of course never was.

Lunch at Marché, Plaza Senayan

For a few times now, whenever my hubby and I go to Plaza Senayan for a movie, we have noticed this market restaurant Marché, so this time we decided to try it out. As the name says, this restaurant uses a market concept where you go from one stall to another and pick your own food. They will give you a card at the entrance, which the stall’s staff will stamp with a code corresponding to your order. You will then pay at the exit. I thought it was quite fun!
